Imagine at IADT

Dawn, Regina, Melissa and I went to the IADT fashion show tonight. We had alot of fun watching all of the student designs come down the runway. There were some really amazing pieces!

The runway was setup in the IADT parking lot just like at NY Fashion Week in Bryant Park with a big white tent. Past Project Runway contestants, Sweet P and Nick Verros, were the hosts for the evening. Nick has been in town before for IADT events, this was Sweet P's first time.Dawn and I have tried and tried to meet him but we either chicken out or there are so many people around him that we give up.

Well, not this time! My lovely friend Monir introduced us - YAY! We didn't have to be screaming girls wanting to meet a TV celeb. He was so nice and polite. We laughed, we cried... ok there was no crying but we did chat about his Ferragamo shiney shoes and the movie Flash Dance. Good times!

After meeting Nick we decided to go over and ask Sweet P for a photo too. She was very nice and took a photo with us. Gotta love those Project Runway folks.

Ok, back to some show details. Tera Lee Bacon was the big winner for the evening with her career wear collection. The judges liked that all three outfits could have been mixed and matched to make more looks.

After the show we moved on to the VIP lounge for food, drinks and goodie bags. Thanks to IADT for such a fun time, I can't wait for next year!
