Random Thoughts...

This morning I stopped at one of my local Starbucks to get my tall iced skinny vanilla latte. Standing in front of me was this woman with the scariest, longest, bright orange with decals, fingernails. They had to be at least over 6" long. I tried so hard to take a picture with my cell phone in a secret manner but it wasn't working... However, when I did a Google search for "weird fingernails" I found a picture of someone who has very similar nails but are shorter...

Why, why, why? I don't get it but I would love to know why women do this. Honestly, I haven't seen this in quite a long time on anyone. But I am so very curious why you would want long, curly nails. To each is own, but really, inquiring minds want to know.

On a lighter, less odd note - I got my SaleMail for today and LOVE this adorable dress from French Connection. It's on Sale!!

Today is super sunny in Seattle, it would be the perfect day for this dress. I might have to buy it!!

Searching for easy peasy 1 2 3-sy dresses....

This weekend I went to the newer Nordstrom Rack in Southcenter looking for some easy, comfy dresses. I had an idea in my mind as to what I wanted but sadly I had no luck whatsoever. (Ideally I was looking for the kind you can pull on and just throw on a pair of tights... I love this grey one - you can dress it up or down!)

I tried on probably 15 dresses that were kind of in the category I was hoping for... However the ones that I liked ended up having some slight problem - like a hole, a ripped seam, a button missing. It was a huge disappointment!

I know that maybe NR isn't the best place to go for exact needs but I figured I'd find something... Oh well.

I got my SaleMail today and there were a few dresses that would work - and they are on sale!! They all come from shopbop.com, you better hurry though b/c inventory is limited. (I don't tend to go there for items b/c they are really expensive but these dresses are reasonably priced!) I like this grey one b/c it's super simple!


This one is a bit short but technically it's a tunic. I do think it's adorable and looks comfy!! What do you think?

Cutie Patoodie Dresses!

I just received my Shopittome Sale Mail and there were tons of cutie patoodie items in it!

I was attracted to this dress: BCBG Max Azria Shadow Bloom Print Dress, Trapeze shaped dress with double scoopneck, 3/4 flutter sleeves and diamond print border. Pulls on over head. However, the Sale Mail says it went from $158 to $56.88 but there is no mention to the sale on Bloomingdales site... I put it in my shopping cart to see if the sale priced would show up and it came up as $94.80... Hmmmm... I liked it better at $56.88 so I held off.

There is another cute dress: Laundry by Shelli Segal Tie Front Chiffon Halter Dress that went from $260.00 to $129.90 ~ not a bad deal at all!! I love the color!

Regina has sparked this whole new interest I have with dresses.. I was never a big fan before but I feel the desire to own more dresses! Thanks Regina!
