This weekend a few friends and myself headed North to Victoria, BC - 2 of us were going to also run in the Royal Victoria Marathon. We ran the 1/2 (and, boy, am I sore today!!).
If you haven't ever been to Victoria than I suggest you go and check it out - it's such a cute city! They have so many amazing shops, sights and eats. We even were able to have high tea at The Empress - it's worth the money.
Sadly, I had to miss out on the Luly Yang fashion show, Portland Fashion Week and a few other fun fashion festivities in town. Our fabulous intern, Youa, was able to go for us and check them out - she'll be reporting about a few of them on her blog. Make sure to swing on over there and see what she has to say.

The empress looks like such an impressive, european style hotel. Glad you enjoyed your trip and was able to participate in the run. Hope the sore feelings don't last.
About the Luly Yang fashion show. Youa has it up not. Lots of pictures and lots of dresses! her slideshow made me feel like I was there experiencing it with her. I agree that others should go see it too...
Anyway, have a great day. Take care!
