Hermes, a luxury label, has started breading their own crocodiles in Australia to meet the demand of their handbags... $60K handbags that is... Really, these people have nothing better to spend their money on than a purse made out of 3-4 crocodiles? Now this, I just don't get. What do you think?

I heard about this the other day & also found it utterly ridiculous. Maybe I'd have a different opinion if I were able to spend $60K on a handbag, but probably not.
Yeah it does seem ridiculous but then I think they do it for minks too... Can't say I like those either (Sorry Linda!). But then I guess that would open a whole debate about eating burgers and chicken and all that. It's a vicious cycle...
