Summer is Approaching!!

I've been on a kick to find cute skirts and shorts and wasn't havng much luck... However, this morning I opened up the Delia's magazine and found several cute skirts and shorts for very reasonable. For just $34.50 you could get several of these adorable skirts or these cute seersucker shorts:



I know Delia's targets teens but I think these 3 items could definitelly work well into your 20's or 30's. Summer is a time to wear bright colors and to show off those tan, or "fake" tan, legs. I will say I think their sizes run a tad bit small so you may wanna go up a size... but noone knows what that tag says except you!

Seattle Mariners vs. New York Yankees

Tonight I am going to a baseball game with the hubby, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and many of my coworkers... I'm gonna try and take picts of fans and what they wear to games... Should be interesting.

I can find a way to turn anything into a fashion event...

Neiman Marcus, You Tricked Me!!

I just got an email from them that said: "FREE $25 Gift Card when you open an NM account!" I was like Yay! free $25 gift card if I just open an account, easy enough... Not so much... When I opened the email it then said "Free $25 gift card with your $300 order during your first week"

Damn! I'm not spending $300 just to get $25 off...

Not really fashion related... Why, yes it is!!

Well, these photos were taken at the MET Costume Institute Gala so then yes, it is fashion related.

John Mayer got his hair cut and looked very cute, uh I mean stylish on the red carpet. Jessica was also there, dressed up, she looked nice but slightly orange. Regina and I know about those spray tans, not a fan of them... (We'll have picts up in regards to ours from this weekend, soon, very soon.)

Cameron was getting some flack on Perez Hilton for her outfit, but I like it. I think she looks very pretty and I love those colors together! Even if it may be a tad bit "recyled", who cares, it works for her... Plus her boobs aren't hanging out of the top of her black bra and dress, Camerons dress actually appears to fit. Always a plus!

Kate Spade, I love you!

I don't buy alot of high end designer items because honestly they seem to be a waste of money most of the time... I can buy so many things for $300 versus 1 dress, ya know. I appreciate nice things, I really do, and now and then it's nice to splurge.

For my 30th b'day my lovely friend Dawn gave me a Kate Spade gift card b/c she knows I have always admired and love Kate Spade yet just won't spend the money. My birthday was in Jan people, it took me 4 months to pick something a finally committ to buying it. It arrived today!! I all but ran to the reception desk where I work to pick up my packade. Thankfully a co-worker who definitelly appreciates such items ran into me in all my joy. She was able to share it with me, which was so much fun!!

I am now the proud owner of a lovely Kate Spade handbag! Unzipped

Today I went to Unzipped at Seattle Center with Regina and Melissa to check out some local and not so local designers. We gathered tons of business cards and pictures to use for the new website. I met some really cool designers and it made me even more excited to get the site up and running.

By the way....

Just an FYI if your looking for a cute pair of patent peep toe shoes.... When I was at the Nordstrom Rack in downtown Seattle yesterday I found this EXACT same shoe, minus the Steve Madden name for half of the price (I was in the size 9 section but I assure you I saw it in other arears). Same shoe people, just with the name Preview and not Steve Madden - who will know!?

I saw a white and a black one for sure... I'm sure the red one is hidden in there as well, you just have to look real hard. The shoe dept is "a little" cluttered to say the least...

Amazon has a new shoe site...

Amazon.com launched a shoe store, Endless.com, and you can find some really great deals there. I found a pair of Charles by Charles David strappy sandals markerd down from $104.95 to $46.79, plus they paid me $5 to ship the shoes to me... Not to mention that I can return them free of charge - which I am doing b/c they weren't real comfy at all. And I don't mean in the sense of suffer for fashion, it's just not that type of shoe.

New Shoes for ME!!

Today was a beautiful day so I thought I would go to Nordstrom Rack with the intention of returning a tan coat and leaving... Oh no... That wasn't the case at all. I decided to just "look" at the shoes. However, I did anything BUT just "LOOK". First, I tried on these adorable Paolo black wedge peep toes for $39.90, sold!

Then I found these ADORABLE turquoise Coach sandals that were marked down from $185 to $69.90, sold!

Then I found these patent leather blue peep toe Steve Madden flats for $49.90... SOLD! I exchanged the $35 coat and felt pretty good that I got atleast one pair for sort of free - well, not really, but I want to think it was kinda free, ok!?
